Christ’s vision for the church is to build a transformed family who seeks Jesus with their whole heart, serving and honoring one another with humility and joy. They are a people who live on mission by making disciples of all nations with the Gospel of grace. They do everything through His Word and by His Spirit, working until Jesus comes back, all for His glory.

But this doesn’t get accomplished automatically. It takes faith, prayer, commitment to the Word, and perseverance.

Matthew 24:14 says that this gospel of the Kingdom shall be be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations and then the end will come. However, in verses 12 and 13 it says that the love of many will grow cold, but those who endure to the end will be saved.

As things get worse in our world, Christ’s vision for the church and perseverance is needed more than ever.

But how do we persevere?
